Audio Newsletters and Video Press Releases for Internal and External Communications
The need to communicate timely and effectively to your employees, and your customers has never been greater. Yet shrinking budgets and increased time demands are making on-site sales meetings and frequent in-person customer visits impractical and unaffordable. Emails don’t work. These days, no one has the time to read them. Conference calls or webinars are no better because they require everyone to reschedule their day, and spend an hour or so on the phone or in front of their computers.
Audio Newsletters - distributed on CD or as mp3 podcasts - allow you to tap into otherwise unproductive employee hours. On average, American workers spend 40 minutes or more each day commuting to and from work. Field sales people can easily spend several hours a day in their cars. But to be effective, audio newsletters need to be more than a product manager or engineer droning on for 20 minutes. They must be informative and well produced in order to keep the listener’s attention. We’ve been producing audio newsletters since the early 90’s. Give a listen. (link to mp3 file to come)
Video Press Releases – once erroneously called video “news” releases - used to be short promotional videos disguised as “actual news” and distributed to television stations. Broadcasters caught on, and the days of video news releases were over.
Today, it’s a whole new ballgame. Thanks to video streaming sites like YouTube and countless others, you can put your video message in front of your customers for a fraction of the cost of in person sales calls. It can be as simple as sending out an email with a link like this one: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYvw8jSHlLw"
